Aime Leon Dore - London
We once stumbled across a quote saying “Aime Leon Dore is currenty building a foundation to become the Ralph Lauren”. Well, if you ask us - there is nothing to add. Calling the brand a part of the streetwear industry is simply an insult as they are so much more than a brand. They create what is the most important these days, a feeling and vibe around the brand. Even the word movement is an understatement. The look and feel of brand, the collaborations with New Balance, Woolrich & Drake’s, just to name some pillars. Teddy Santis managed to create a culture around the brand thousand of others are trying to mimic but simply cannot handle what is need to get it done. Another part of the puzzle are the retail spaces, which leads us to the newest announcement of the 2nd store about to open up in the heart of Great Britain, London. 32 Broadwick St. London, UK W1F 8JB
See the video below and enjoy diving into the new vibe of a traditional space with a fresh mind linked to it. It reminds us of the restaurant Rocky Balboa was owning, where Ray Liotta & Joe Pesci had a pretty intense conversation about what is actually “funny”. In general we feel like entering an old fashioned bar in the glory times of New York. What is your feeling? Bourbon on the rocks for two please! Check the full vide HERE
